Highly stressful situations in life often lead to poor health and quality of life. In the last century, we, collectively, have not experienced the likes of COVID-19.
And while we do not yet know the exact and complete effect of this pandemic on our lives, so far, it has highlighted the importance of environment and health, being physical, immune, and equally as important, health of the mind.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS): two out of three businesses saw decline in revenue this year, causing stress to business owners; jobs have declined, placing more pressure on individuals to make a living; one in five Australians are eating more snacks; and sadly, one in eleven individuals believe life will never return to normal after this pandemic (please note, we are here for you, please click here for assistance relating to COVID-19).
Feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, and poor mental health have understandably increased, leading to demotivation and poorer quality of life, which in turn can cause issues with focus/concentration and lead to poor outcomes.
There is no single effective solution. However, Exercise, Sleep, Mindfulness, Eating Well (all the things you’ve probably heard before) can assist in placing us in a position to handle this situation with a positive attitude and come up with the best possible solutions.
But, time constraints, practicality and also physical limitations, can make implementing these wholesome suggestions difficult. Particularly, as while we are stressed our bodies enter fight or flight mode, releasing chemicals into our bodies which make it all-consuming and escalating. This usually results in worry, irritability, reactivity, impulsiveness, poorer food choice and insomnia.
It can easily snow-ball into a chronic pattern of poor health, impaired senses, and negativity.

Wellness - Our Philosophy
'Wellness' is a very broad term which refers to many different aspect of life which can lead to a happier and more enriching life.
We have found that how good life is for any individual all essentially boils down to the 5 senses of human perception.
Studies now show that to get the best out of yourself or anyone else, you and your team need to be positive, quite simply happy, because it is in this state that everything seems to come more easily, more efficiency, creatively, and in far better quality.
But to achieve this it is not solely mind, nor solely body individually which need to be focused upon, but the whole package collectively.
We have found that as humans we all respond one way or another (be it easily visible from the outside or contained within) to how we perceive what has happened around us.
Sometimes this is conscious, but often this is not conscious. But regardless, we all respond to what is around us through a series of chemical reactions within our bodies which result in particular moods, behaviours, and decisions.
By addressing each of the 5 senses of human perception (sight, smell, taste, touch, sound) it is possible to counteract external pollutants/interference and bring back calm, focus, creativity, and even happiness into life.

Our Founders
Dr Viktor Zeltser dedicated the last 30+ years of his life to pinpointing what little X factor which does not just allow us to live and heal, but which makes us thrive. His passion for life and medicine began as a child, when he suffered with serious illnesses, including tuberculosis, pneumonia, and hepatitis. Each time he was ill, he poured through any books he could access about the disease he suffered.
Dr Zeltser found that some of the most effective treatments involved use of certain botanicals applied in a particular manner combined with certain mindfulness. Graduating secondary school with a gold medal and then Medical School, he began his life-long research in botanicals that assist in improving and prolonging human life.
Evelyn Zeltser, having worked in the food and wellness industry for over a decade, both in public and private sectors, experienced the effects of burnout both through team members and personally.
Trying many suggestions of stress management such as meditation, physical activity, and diets, found that dietary changes were far too drastic to maintain, while meditation was difficult during times of high stress. While daily physical exercise helped, it was not always convenient to perform in a work setting or before a meeting.
After a health-altering burnout she sought discussion from others who went through similar circumstances and realised that she was not alone.
For guidance, Evelyn finally approached her father, Dr Viktor Zeltser, and together, our two founders formed a panel of well-respected experts was formed, including neuroscientist, psychologist, nutritionist, and GP, who collectively researched and formulated bespoke techniques encompassing all five senses to enable anyone to get the best out of themselves, in the most efficient and easiest way possible.
Dr Zeltser Method was born.
